Reinventing myself

Attention: open in a new window. E-mail

I have been trying to figure out where to take my photography.

A friend ( Thanks Randy) lent me a book called
Visionmongors, making a life and living in photography
I found the book rather depressing.  Not for it's content or advice, ( which seems really good) but for the fact it was just renfourcing what I already know... where my weaknesses are.

Adding to this is I am not sure what type of photography I want to do, where to take my vision.

Up until I went to Japan, I was happy to shoot boudiour.... and I was reasonably good at it.

I still like working with ladies and creating beautiful image of them, but it doesn't seem to drive me anymore.

I spent a day or so with my good friend Bob House ( A great photographer in Belleville).

We discussed where we are, and were we want to go.

I am kicking around the idea of being a "storyteller" with my images.

Not sure what this really means.... yet.
